Hopwell Elementry School 35 Princeton Ave, Hopewell, NJ 08525
A hilly ride from Hopewell Borough to Sergeantsville on country roads through Somerset and Hunterddon Counties. 42 Miles, 2500 feet of climb sez Ride with GPS. New C+ pace, hill adjusted 13.0 mph +/- 0.5 mph. Stop in Sergeantsville at the Covered Bridge Deli for a break and our favorite snacks. No riders dropped, wet roads cancel. Meet in school parking lot.

We will be going 14 to 15.4 mph which is about what a C+ Ride was last year, especially since I would much prefer to go closer to 14 mph. This route is one of my favorites.

Riders will stay together no matter how many watts they can crank out. We‘ll leave from Byron Johnson Park to the Columbus General Store (@20 miles). 35 miles total. 987 ft elevation. Pace 14-15 mph. Faster riders are free to go ahead. Bathrooms are available at the park and the General Store.

We will do an easy paced 30-mile ride to Columbus. Average speed 12.5 to 13 mph. Only one very short hill near the beginning of the ride. 30.9 miles, 746‘ climbing. If you have questions or concerns about the ride, please contact me.

Cantankerous leader seeks patient riders for 33 miles on scenic roads with a brief stop. Expect barely over 13 mph and a brief stop, with an emphasis on safety and the fun of riding with old friends and making new ones. Early registrants get the best seats. Tall Cedars to New Egypt loop. 33 miles, 1165 feet of climb. New B- Paced ride for the Spring Fling with a brief rest stop at the Charleston Coffee House and/or All-Star Bagels in New Egypt (next door to each other), this ride is for you. We will split into two groups at the start: Doug to lead the A ride Peter to lead the B+ ride Both rides will use the same route.
B paced ride of 35-45 miles
Easy D ride, average around 10 mph for about 20 miles.
The route I posted is tentative, I need to ride it beforehand to confirm.
EZ paced C ride on relatively flat roads. Suitable for new riders or folks looking for a relaxed social ride. Distance 25-27 miles, pace 11.2 - 12 mph. Wet roads cancel the ride. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the ride. We will leave promptly at 9:30 am.
Usually the earliest benefit ride of the season, this ride benefits the Franklin Food Bank. More info at the link near the location.
