40-mile loop commencing at Bicentennial Park located in East Brunswick, NJ. Around mile 21 will pass through Englishtown NJ and could stop at QuickChek, McDonalds, or Dunkin Donuts. Wet conditions cancel. Click on the icon that follows to see the route at RWGPS.
Ride Recap: Alex V showed up and we had a good ride together. Although we only stuck to the B pace through the first third of the ride. Eventually we were going between 20 and 26 mph. Two of the roads were closed to bridges being under repair. But we were able to walk over them. I've never departed for a ride from Bicentennial Park. And some of the roads we did were new to me. But my Garmin eTrex device kept me informed as to where I needed to go. We stopped briefly at McDonalds in Englishtown. Nice weather today. A little windy, but it wasn't too bad.
