The Climb the Gunks for MS Gran Fondo is a fun and challenging event with the purpose of benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Every member of our team donates their time and energy to benefit those who suffer with MS. 100% of the net proceeds of this event will go to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Since this is the event’s inaugural year, the event will be limited to 250 cyclists.
In addition to the registration fee, all cyclists are requested to fundraiser or donate a minimum of $50 to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
This ride starts in Bloomingburg, NY and takes place on the Shawangunk Mountain Range. Referred to affectionately as the "Gunks," this region offers an experience of great variety and beauty. And challenging climbs!
There are 3 routes for this event: The Gran Fondo, the Medio Difficile Fondo and the Medio Fondo. There is no Piccolo (small) Fondo since the least difficult of these 3 routes averages 100’ per mile. There are no small or easy rides on the Shawangunk Mountain Range. To view all 3 routes:
Along the routes there will be fully stocked rest stop(s) with bathrooms and SAG vehicles. At the finish there will be a full meal and assorted beverages.
The Gran Fondo will have 5 timed sections. The longest segment is over 1800’ of climbing and 5.1 miles in length. The two Medio Fondos have timed section(s).
If interested, please go to our website for further info:
We hope you are having a great riding season!
