About this event

Grinding through the area surrounding Pennington! Varied terrain but a nice mix of flats and hills. Rain, wet roads and/or high winds cancel.

I am categorizing this early season ride as a C+ ride one last time and will go as slow as the slowest rider. Starting on May 12 this will become a B- ride. The planned route, elevation gain and distance are: ~28 miles, ~1300 feet (46.4 feet/mile).

There is a porta-potty at the start. Expect 13.5-14.0 mph average speed for the ride as we continue to build endurance. For now, faster riders are always welcome to ride ahead if they have the route.

Note: there are two parking lots at Twin Pines. The lot we use is the one at the traffic light: Stephenson Rd and Federal City Road intersection with Lawrenceville-Pennington Road.
