Events - Event View

See the planned route here. This one's not for everybody: a section of the route is milled (not preparatory to paving, but for traction when it floods), and we return over a section of Main St in Finderne and Bound Brook. But the stop is at that Italian bakery in Raritan that some of my riders especially like. Also, only about 1000' of climb, and we go through the Duke Estate.

No toilets at the start. Stops as needed.

Usual Plain Jim Lo-B pace; nobody dropped. Faster folks will be given opportunities to burn sugar.

COVID-19: we don't check your status, but we do expect that you will be courteous to the person who's just a little more worried about the pandemic than you are. Think of it as an opportunity to be polite... but impoliteness on this issue will have consequences.

(Yeah, I know it's the day after the holiday party. Keep your cadence up, so you can burn off those empty calories.)

Addendum December 3: My wife was sent home from the office after a coworker tested positive for COVID-19. We do not believe we are infected or contagious (both of us are dual-vaccinated with a booster), and I intend to lead this ride anyway. I will maintain distance from other riders.
