28-mile loop starting and finishing at Washington Crossing Park in NJ. Parking available just off River Drive near the bridge that crosses to Pennsylvania. No rest stop is planned, but restroom and food options are available in or close to Stockton, NJ. At about the halfway point in the ride we will visit the Sergeantsville Covered Bridge. Most of the ride is on towpaths.

PFW Ride Categories and Speed

Ride Recap: Beautiful morning for a bike ride. Nobody showed up for my ride. But I was all set to go anyway. There were several people out riding their bike on the towpath this morning. Most of them were senior citizens and on bikes way to slow to keep up with me. When I got to the covered bridge I kept going straight and ended up at Bulls Island. Crossed the river using the pedestrian bridge there so I didn't have to walk my bike. So I suppose the ride got up to 35 miles total? I started the ride at 10 and returned to my car at 12:15. Had fun.
