The usual Saturday morning canal ride from Washington Crossing (NJ side), except this time we are GOING TO BRISTOL!!!!

We head down the Delaware on the Jersey side, crossing over Route 29 at the Sunoco gas station on Sullivan Way. Then it’s through the Island section of Trenton and Stacy Park, past the iconic Trenton Water Works building and then we walk across the even more iconic Calhoun Street Bridge into the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Then we STOMP our way down to Bristol.

Return trip is all Pennsylvania to the bridge in Washington Crossing.

This we will the most FUN you could possibly have on a Saturday morning on a bicycle and speaking of bicycles, gravel, mountain, fattie types are suggested. You can do it with road tires, but I’m not helping you change your flat.

Be there, or be square at 8:50am and ready to ride at 9am

The parking lot we start from is a couple hundred feet north of the 1904 era steel bridge over the Delaware River. There are three sections to the parking lot and because of high use it’s not possible to pinpoint one meeting place so, I will be the one wearing a highly fashionable and somewhat annoying bright orange hat with matching neck flap while in the parking lot.
